Diane Tullson Diane Tullson won the 2007/2008 Stellar award for her title Red Sea. She had also previously been nominated for the 2006/2007 Stellar Award for Blue Highway, this is Diane Tullson's third nomination! Diane Tullson lives with her family near Vancouver. She has written journals and letters her whole life. Tullson has a degree in English Literature, and has also studied creative writing, editing, and journalism. A professional author since 1996, Tullson now writes for both young adult and adults. According to Tullson, rejection letters are the most difficult part of being a writer, but she never lets them stop her from writing.
