Welcome to the 2009/2010 Stellar Book Award

Teens - you can register online, read and review your faves. Ultimately you'll have to vote for the very best - but you've got until April to decide!
The 2009/2010 nominees have been selected by teens working with a mentor at the North Vancouver District Library, Sutherland High School, Windsor High School and Richmond Public Library.

The winner of the 2008/2009 Stellar Book award is Carrie Mac for her stunning novel: The Droughtlanders

The sequels Retribution and Storm (published in 2008) conclude this gripping dystopic trilogy. As one teen reviewer on our website said: "Everything in this book is good. The characters are well developed, the plot is fast paced and interesting, it is definitely one of the best books I have ever read." Obviously teens throughout B.C. agreed! Carrie Mac is now the first two time winner of the Stellar Award. Her book "The Beckoners" won the Stellar award in 2006/2007! Congratulations Carrie and thank you to all the teens who participated and voted.
